: reviews of Battery Farm :

Album of Human Error is a music of background. It can be great addition to silent visual transmission, exposure, or art. But also without this transmission music it self wakes up in listener multiple impression of mind, creating beam of image and control it imagination like ship between dreams and reality. What's most interesting in Human Error's music, it's unbelivable balancing movement between background and first scene of album pieces. When i listen to each fragment i have a feeling that im listening only to things in background and only from time to time im riped out from meditation by unexpected sound. It's like looking on tract where in a moment new existence will sink, whirling her smooth and orderly surface. Called out this way rhythmic and interfered waves, creates new image of world reflecting in her surface.

Music of Human Error it's a sound mixture transposing listener to far away, deep future. Here dominate piece and order, time flows slowly. From one side music contemplate rareness and greatness of universe and from other it is close to people, every day but noble, feelings. Sometimes wakes up tune of existential disquiet but above all dominate here spirit of order and concentration. It is very interesting and fresh material, let you relax and forget about everything.

Human Error propose on his album "Battery Farm" soundtrack to movie about life in big city. On cd interweave ambient corridors, ethnic melodies, trans rhythms and nature sounds. All of it fits in tradition appointed by artists of german label Fax. Intriguing music of background.

This way should sound voices of city in the night in which i want to live...Darkness of existence, gray reality, pale colors and tones sometimes lighten by lights of ambulance passing by. Silence, gently waiting for bad events. Human Error serves us thing in which we stray in our night wandering. Unknown voices, vehicles passing by, human noises - ambient music stains, in help of pulsating rhythms. Pieces are short, wandering through edges of consciousness, disapearing after a while and transform into new sounds. Music good for sleeping and also for listening coz it's an ambient but it draws attention. Slick melodies and sound stains filling time of waiting for city at night to come. For over 40 minutes we travel with authors through zones of their imagination. Battery Farm, revive us, to let as fall asleep.

Another impressive album published by Requiem Rec. "Battery Farm" it is a soundtrack to a imaginated movie about life in the city. But not main stream life. Human Error presents dream collages cuted out from urban alleys. "Batery farm" extract highly protected secrets introducing them to us and opening our mind on unnamed and undiscovered things. Album of Human Error it's a guide to urban alleys, which helps us to move in the shadow of night. A map showing us places that we should stay away from and where under dirt and ugliness hides true beauty. And It doesn't matter where we live because city spirit is common for all of us...If it comes to music it's old el-music of Klaus Schultze ("Such a warm machine") mixed with postindustrial ambient of Lustmord ("Tam gdzie sypiaj± szczury"). On album you can also hear delicate beats ("Crann Bethadh"), ambulance sirens ("Już do Ciebie jadę"), city sounds ("Cyberia") and others more or less known sounds. Although lots of diferent music styles each piece dont spoil athomsphere of whole album and variety of sounds successfuly build climate and gives us intention of author rely on showing urban background. Beautiful sometimes truly fascinating music.[8,5]

I have listened "Battery Farm" very cerfully. Illustrative music, something like FSOL but i will end all music assimilations on this one (Im sure FSOL aren't first precursors of this kind of style). This album is like voyage to unknown - you never know what will happend next however when i listen to it i feel that everything flows in slow motion, like it will happen. Random sounds, each individualy doesnt have a concrete role - together they create "urban ambient". Synthetic lines perfectly fall inside your ear what makes you want to listen more than one time. I hear pefection in transmission. Accept gloomy rats "sleephouse" there's also some optimism ("Such A Warm Machine") which don't let ambient "nausea" to show. Through this 45 minutes of your stimulated imagination and dalliance of mood, u can escape with your thoughts to imagine city. I recomend Battery Farm everyone who want to be there, experience everything in slow motion, think over...relax. You walk through the street with your headpones, it's 11PM and you feel like to listen music then you are in the right place in the right time. So today before you go out at night to the city put on to discman "Battery Farm" but dont' get lost - come back, come back curious of world like "Hawk".
